In 2017, after completing my training, I decided to embark on an adventure and fly solo to New Zealand. Upon arriving in Auckland, I spent the first few nights in various hostels, where I met like-minded individuals from different countries and forged valuable friendships.
Soon, I wanted to explore the North Island on my own, so I acquired a camper van. This allowed me to travel flexibly and visit the hotspots I had previously discovered. I stayed overnight at numerous campgrounds, where I frequently met other travelers and made new connections.
For the South Island, I sold my camper in Auckland and flew onward. Once there, I explored the island together with some French people – traveling by car and camping in a tent.
